I can recieve emails but not send

      17th Jan 2008
When I send an email it just sits in the outbox and continually tries to send
but doesn't ever do it. I looked at the various threads with the same
problems and have not found a solution yet. The problem just began yesterday
on my laptop while I was away from the home, and my wife was having the same
problem on our home computer. We have the same program installed as well as
the same security installed. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I should
do? Thanks.

Since you both are experiencing the problem, it sounds like it could be
external to you both and not an Outlook problem. However, have you both
performed some identical action, like adding an update between when it
didn't work and now?

And how do you know that's not the problem? Back out the most recent update
and see if the problem changes.
