My problem is that I can receive email and files in
Outlook or Yahoo Messenger, but I cannot send email or
share any files over the Net. Is this some kinda Firewall
thing? Cause I disabled my firewall, but to no avail. I
checked with my service provider but the problem is not
there. Thing is, I thought it was a problem with Outlook,
but it is obviously not. I can not send anything at all
from my pc, but I can receive. Where do I change a
setting or something so I can send/receive?

What are the errors you are getting?

A firewall would not likely have anything to do with email problems.

You don't say what error messages you are getting. Hard to debug for you.

For Outlook, check to make sure you have configured outgoing mail
correctly, e.g. the SMTP server name and security settings. Re-read
carefully the ISP's instructions for configuration and re-check.

For Yahoo Messenger ... doesn't this use a Web interface program
exclusively? If used via browser this surely has nothing to do with
Outlook. What is the exact error message?

What recent changes have you made to your computer? When did it work
last? What changed since then?
