Setting up Windows Mail. I can receive, but not send. Tried different options
given in other posts. This is the error msg:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Fw: Childcare for April',
Account: 'Yahoo Email', Server: 'smtp.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port:
25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank You!

I'm having the exact same problem and the same error message. Have you
figured it out?

beanie,

By changing my server port number from 25 to 3535 I am now able to send
e-mails. I realized the port number was wrong based on another post and by
going to the godaddy website which hosts my e-mail it showed a list of four
SMTP server ports I could use. I just assumed that because my default was
set to 25 and it was on the list that it must be correct, but of course it
didn't work.

Good luck!

Lisa

Hey, Lisa! That was a huge help! My port numbers are different than yours
(ATT), but I knew what I was looking for by your error. I worked! Thanks a
million!
