Can I put a password to enter site on Front Page 2000?

Hi Tom ... Thank you for such a fast reply. That is very helpful!

It looks like your response will take care of my needs.
BUT ... before I move forward ... will these instructions protect the site
online - on the internet.

I don't need protection while working on my web on my computer ... but only
after I publish it ... cuz then I only want the intended user who logs on to
be able to view the data.
