You have to transform your presentation into a film first and then burn it
on a DVD or CD.

If you want to make a data DVD, in PowerPoint 2007 click
>>publish>>package for CD. If you have a burner in your computer, you

can save it to DVD!
And if you want to make a playable DVD, you should use some program to
convert your presentation to video format. You can save your
presentation to jpg format and then use Windows Movie Maker to make a
movie and then burn it to DVD.
But if your Presentation has many sounds, animations and video clips,
you'd better use some professional tools like PPT2DVD, PPT to Video
and so on.
Here you can find the program PPT2DVD: http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/ppt2dvd/overview.html
you can also use some screenrecord program to record your
presentation.

First you need to convert your PowerPoint to video format;
then burn the video into DVD/CD.
You can have a try at this tool:
http://ppt-to-video.com/powerpoint-to-dvd-overview.html

It is designed to help you convert your PowerPoint directly to DVD.
A comprehensive yet easy-to-use tool.
All the things in the original PowerPoint would be retained.

You just need:
1. Install it.
2. Import your PowerPoint
3. Create DVD menu that you like.
4. Burn it to DVD.

Hope it helps!
