If your host supports subwebs publish it a subweb as say
http://www.maydownsstation.com.au/demo/
You can also password protect the subweb
See
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;825451
Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions
PS
On some hosts you may need to open the root web in FP and create the subweb before publishing to it either in FP or in the FP SE
(Tools Site Settings Admin)

| Hi there and thanks in advance.
|
| I have a FP2003 web site currently
www.maydownsstation.com.au , I am in the
| process of developing another web site. ( I know how to F12 to get a not
| online view in IE etc)
| BUT How do I get the new web site files to be accessable for some one in
| another location to give an opinion on it without it having to be exposed in
| our current MD web site.
| eg. Can I link the new site to the functioning site but keep it hidden away
| from general browsing, and only those I have given the correct http:
| address can pull the site up?
| Is this possible?
| Cheers Isagold
