I am using Outlook 2002 (part of Office XP). I have been disabling the
preview pane for each folder I have email messages saved into. Can this be
disabled across all folders easily?

Thanks you in advance,

Aaron

start outlook using the /nopreview switch.

http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/switches.htm - this is for outlook
2003, but the steps are mostly the same - change the version # from 11 to
10. (The switches listed there will work with 2002, except for the safe:x
ones. Search your help file for 'cleanreminders' to learn about the other
switches available for your version.)

Start Outlook with the /nopreview command line switch.

After using this switch, folders in Outlook that have not specifically been
set to remove the Preview Pange, still display it.

Did you use this switch once or are you using it every time you start
Outlook? You must use it every time. ALternatively, you can use the
methods here to alter the default Message view:
http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/grouping.htm . While this describes how
to remove grouping, the methods apply equally to any view setting.
