Yesterday I had just finished (or so I thought) fixing a Presario SR2023WM
running XP Media Center Edition 2005. It had a bunch of malware and a handful
of trojans. I got it working again using Windows Defender and a few other
different apps. Was eventually able to network it to my computer and clean it
up with Mcafee. Fully updated it w/Windows as well. It was responding just
fine and shutting down w/o any hesitation. I get back to it today to do my
finishing touches on it before I return it, but now it hangs when I attempt
to shut it down and I can't connect to the internet... I'm able to ping w/no
problem. Examples--> Yahoo.com... Google.com... Dell.com.

I have experienced this before a long time ago but can't remember what I did
to fix the issue. Is there anyone out there that would know what needs to be
done to get me back on the right track?? THANX N ADVANCE. Wayne B.
