All,

I have a wired problem which I think it is a challenge for every one.

I use Windows XP (pro) and I use my office network to connect to
internet.
Time by time I can not connect to the proxy server. I can ping all the
machines except the proxy server , I can read external and internal
emails using Microsoft exchange but I can not ping anything behind the
proxy. During this period all my colleagues can use the net without any
problem. Unfortunately ipconfig/release/renew don't help either. All I
have to do, I have to wait for almost 24 hours and after that I can
start browsing the net!!!!. Finally you might like to know this
behaviour was periodic for a couple of weeks (one day off the next day
on) but for last couple of weeks it became more random. The result of
the trace-route during the off period is really funny; it can trace all
the machines to the proxy but not the proxy server.

I scanned my computer with latest ad-aware and antivirus version but it
seems OK. It makes me really crazy. Any sort of help would be much
appreciated in advance

regards

Amir
