I have computer can ping www.yahoo.com or any webpage /IP

But Msn,skype,IE,firefox,Outlook Express,thunderbird,chrome.....etc can not
be work...

I can access internal computer also....

It can be solved when I restart the computer...


At the same time,Other 70 computers don't get this problem....
Normally 1 computer get problem only...but not the same one get this
problem......

I always update the computer.....

so...these computers are win2000 sp4 and XP home sp2 and sp3.....(some
computer update sp3 will cause that computer can not be opened)


Please kindly advise me what is the problem and how to solve it???

Do you use proxy server in your network? If not, it could be 3rd party
security software. This search result may help too.

There is no proxy server....

at the same time...only 1 of 70 computer get problem..

every time is different computer....

after restart that computer...it work again...


most of computer only get office,bitdefender(antivirus),winrar,updated
windows,driver..only

I can ping IP...i can ping web page...but i can not open it by any typeweb
browser...msn,skype.....

I know that restart PC will solve it..but I don't think that is good idea
(I can access internal file server)

What these computers are connected to, and how they get the Internet.
Could be a Server/Gateway problem.

internet--->(linux firewall and gateway)---->switch----->70computers

[In fact,linux firewall router has changed before,last time is linksys
Router]

When it happens,that computer can also ping other webpage and IP......
