can a pdf document have a hyperlink which links to the website?

the subject line says it all really. I am designing a website which includes
examples of work done, set up as 'project sheets' in pdf. The idea is that
these can also be printed out by the Directors to include in submissions or
by potential clients who might be interested in the company's capabilities.

As the purpose of a pdf file is to set it up so you can 't edit it, does
this mean that I can't set it up (as a Publisher file) to link back to my
website (created in Front Page)? I have seen plenty of websites where you
have to physically close down a pdf file to get back to the original website
and would rather avoid this.

PDF files can have links that point to any web site.
