I enabled overburn in nero and now my burner refuses to recognize when a cd is inserted. Is there anything that I can do to fix it besides getting a new burner?

It is possible to cause harm to the CD burner by overburning, but it is
unlikely that the drive will allow this. It will most likely just stop
attempting to write before it harms itself. You may need to check these:
