can outlook change font styles from original messages

i have friends sending messages in a script font but i receive them in a
plain text. is there a setting i need to change to get messages in the same
font style they are sent in

First, you must have the font he's using on your PC if you expect to see it,
unless he's embedding the font in the message, whifch I don't believe is the
default. Windows will substitute some other font if you don't have it
installed.
