With Outlook 2003 I could open multiple copies and hotkey between different
parts of Outlook. I could have the mail AND contacts AND Calendar all open
in seperate windows. With Outlook 2007 I cannot find how to do that. When I
try to open a second instance it just goes to the one opened window. I know
I can move to the different views inside of the one window however I liked
the ability to have the view I wanted already opened in another window.

Try opening a copy like this:
Outlook.EXE Outlook:Contacts

See if that opens a second copy to the Contacts folder, for example

Create an shortcut with the switch \recycle

"C:\Programs\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12\OUTLOOK.EXE" /recycle
(if necessary conform the path)

Future use this shortcut to open Outlook.

In earlier versions of Outlook this switch was standard but it obviously
has been removed in Outlook 2007.

YOu can also right-click on any folder and choose Open in New Window.
