I am trying to copy a movie with audio, pictures and videos from my camera.
I have saved it to my hard drive and it works fine on WMP. When I try to
copy it to a CDR in movie maker it saves to 60% then says 2173456279 seconds
remaining and freezes. I tried to copy this movie from my hard drive onto a
CD and it does not work either. I know you will need info...please help, I
am very proud of my project and want to share it :O)

OK... can *Save* the file? But cannot *Burn* the
file to disk?

Burning directly to disk from Movie Maker is
usually not the best idea and can be unreliable.

Are you trying to create a simple Data Disk...or
do you expect a video disk like a VCD or a DVD?

Maybe the following info will offer some ideas:

To play a movie on a DVD player...you
need software that can create a VCD...
(this assumes you do not have a DVD
burner...then you might create a DVD)

First you would save your Movie Maker
project to a folder on your hard drive as
a movie...File / Save Movie File...
or type...Ctrl+P.

Next...you need to import the completed
..wmv or .avi movie file into a software
program that will create a VCD. Most
DVD players will play a VCD...check
the manual for your DVD player for
compatibility. A VCD is a Video Disk
created on a CD instead of a DVD.

I've had success with a program called
'InterVideo WinDVD Creator'...there are
many others...'NeroVision Express'...is
another example. The main thing is the
program must be able to create a VCD
from a .wmv or .avi video file.

I am not trying to make a DVD but a CD with my movie on it. To be able to
watch on other computers. I bought FujiFilm CD-R's. My movie is only 30
Megs. Is it possible to do this?

If you have a CD-RW drive (burner)...you may have
software that will allow you to create a simple data
disk. Or...you could try using the following instructions.

It is possible to do it but it will take some work since they are MPG's
Unfortunately Movie Maker does not work well with MPG's so they need to be
converted to AVI ot WMV in most cases to work with WMM.
You can try to drag one to the timeline and then save it to your computer as
a WMV
using the "High Quality NTSC" setting. If it works then do this separately
with each
MPG. Some of them will likely NOT work and then you will need another
program
to convert them to WMV or AVI. For that see this website:
http://www.videohelp.com/convert
Here you can find more information as well as programs to do the
conversions.

(306524) HOW TO: Copy Information to a
CD in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306524

I tried this and the box tells me "the CD may no longer be usable...unable
to copy"...but it is a brand new CD fresh out of the wrapper.

It's always something isn't it? Maybe you
have a hardware issue with your burner.

And...maybe the following articles will offer
some ideas:
