Can only burn 8 tracks to cd

Help someone! All of a sudden I can only burn 8 tracks to cd. Have tried
all sorts, different tracks, different brands of cd, always with the same
outcome. Can't fathom out why, the cds play great but are only half full...
Why????

Are you burning an audio or data CD?

Version of WMP?

Error messages or other symptoms?

's Computer Specifications

WMP10, and it's audio tracks. There are no error messages or other
indications, converts the tracks fine, but stops the burn after 8.
