CAN ONLY ACCESS WEBSITES BY IP ADDRESS

Hi,

I have a windows 2003 R2 server. I have setup DNS on the server. I am only
able to access websites via their ip addresses and not the full name e.g.
www.microsoft.com.

any ideas.

Hello mahmad,

Do you mean domain internal or external websites? For domain internal, did
you create a Host(A) record for www pointing to the webserver ip address?
For external websites you have to configure in the DNS management console
the Forwarders tab with the ip address of your ISP's DNS server.
