When I open a page that contains XML in IE I can not view the information.
The page properties will show XML everytime, but my page is blank. I can not
figure out why this is. Can anyone help?

Please advise if you are using Internet Explorer 7.

I had the issue on IE6, and after trying to do everything I could think of I
updated to IE7 Beta2 and still have the issue.

I found the fix for this. I needed to Run cmd line regsvr32 msxml3.
Everything was fine afterward.
