I have Vista Ultimate 32 bit
Office 2007 pro
Just downloaded WMDC 6.1 for my Cingular 8125 and it still won't sync?
WMDC connects... I can browse my phone content... but it will not sync my
addresses etc. I am in a small office and do not have/use an "exchange
server"

I would appreciate any help.

So what mail account type are you using then?

Did it work with WMDC 6.0?
Note that WMDC is supported in the pocketpc.activesync newsgroup.

Because of all this trouble... I have not setup Outlook as my email client.
I use gmail and hotmail. All I really need is the sync to happen so I can
print/edit appointments from my 8125 to Outlook 07.

I will setup a "dummy" account for Outlook and then try to sync... but I
don't think that is the issue. I say that because my 8125 will sync with my
laptop running outlook XP and XP pro with my old email addresses that I don't
even access any more.

You still need to configure Outlook first or it won't have a datastore. You
don't actually need to have a mail account configured but just make sure you
have a pst-file.
