First: I could receive mail & not send...so I took the follwoing action: I
changed outgoing to 465 & incoming to 995 & checked SSL box for both...this
fixed problem sending email. But now I can't receive emails and I'm getting
this message: Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: '-ERR not supported b7pf167098ana.11', Port: 995,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

The problem is that you have enabled an option that the server does not
support.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Uncheck the box for "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."

also, forgive me for joining you and interupting yer space,,,but the question
feature would not work: I get this every time I send an email:

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server.

The rejected e-mail address was 'Undisclosed-Recipient:;Account:
'mail.charter.net', Server: 'mail.charter.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '550 5.5.0 <Undisclosed-Recipient:;> '@' or '.' expected after
'Undisclosed-Recipient'', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error
Number: 0x800CCC79

PLEASE help.

Thank you so much!
Yer Pal,
Thee

Apparently you used BCC addressing on that message, and failed to put
anything in the To field. Put yourself in the To field and send again.
Some mail providers don't allow a blank To field.
