Hey, since I changed something (????I don't remember, it's a long time ago) in -I think in "settings"- the internet connection folder is e m p t y. Empty as I would not have any connection to the internet settled up. But I have my LAN a n d I have my dial-up installed. Both are working very well. But: They don't show up in my folder.....HOW can I get re-establish the Folder?
I did already a couple of tries - in the properties of the "service"-area, etc.etc. .....nothing works. the folder is still empty.
I really appreciate somebody's helpful answer! thanks.

First make sure that your Network Connections Service and Remote Access
Connection Manager services are running. If they are then compare the LAN
connections in the connections folder with the Network Adapter drivers in
device manager. If there is a Network Adapter driver that doesn't have a
corresponding connection in the connections folder then try reinstalling it.
