Can not see child domain in Microsoft Windows Network Window

's Computer Specifications

I have a child domain at a site connected via VPN Tunnel (Cisco PIX).
I am able to connect to the domain controller of the child domain
through Active Directory Users and Computer. However when I click on
Microsoft Windows Network, it does not show the child domain of any of
our sites connected via the VPN Tunnel.

's Computer Specifications

As far as im aware Microsoft Windows Networking uses
netbios over tcp/ip, check that is enabled. But shouldn't
you be using directory to locate you computers? Im not
100% on this.
