Under Windows Xp Fax help it says to right click the failed fax, or
click file & restart but mine is greyed out I can not click resart the
fax both resume & restart are greyed out any suggestions?

When a fax send scenario fails, it is retried 3 times (default setting)
before it is given up with status retry exceeded. For such a fax you can
restart the sending. For a fax which failed in some attempt and will be
retried (status retrying), you cannot restart the fax.

Check the status column in the Fax console - if the status is retrying you
cannot restart. You will have to wait till retries are exceeded.
