I installed Outlook 2007 on a system running Windows XP Pro and am connecting
to a GroupWise imap server.

I can receive, send, and forward messages; however, when I attempt to reply,
I receive the message, "The messaging interface returns an unknown error If
the problem persists, restart Outlook.'

This also happened when I attempted to use Outlook 2003.

There are other individuals in the organization who use Outlook 2003 and
2007 without encountering this issue.

When I compare setups, I see no obvious difference.

Any ideas from anyone?

Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion Kathleen; however, it was not successful.

I could not create an e-mail account in the new profile that would match the
entries in the old profile since incoming and outgoing servers are not
specified.

I deleted all the profiles, uninstlled GroupWise 7, and then re-installed
GroupWise. GroupWise created a new profile that looked just like the old
one. However, the same condition exists.

When I view profiles on other workstations, they look just like the new one
that GroupWise created.

In case others are experiencing this problem, it was resolved by installing
GroupWise 7 Service Pack 3.
