Can not receive message

Dear Sir
I install the windows messenger 5.0 in my windows
2000 pc and use exchange server 2000 as instant messenge
server. I can send messenge to other people, but can not
receive messenge. I have not any firewall.

How to solve it ??

Greetings,

Since you can't receive messages, you may want to check that the Internet Connection Firewall
hasn't been engaged which would stop you from receiving messages through Exchange IM. To do
so, click Start, then All Programs, then Accessories, then Communications and then Network
Connections. Right click your network/internet connection, then click Properties. Click the
Advanced Tab, and verify that the Internet Connection Firewall is unchecked.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for quickly reply.

Because we also use windows 2000 profressional,
so there have no any software or hardware firewall. It also
can not receive the message. How can i solve it?

when i go to use my hot mail account to send i am told it is not registered
