Contact you Internet Service Provider to obtain the necessary POP and
SMTP server names as well as their requiments as far as log-on security
settings. You can than use the Accounts function on the Tools menu to
configure Outlook Express. Some ISPs provide detailed instructions on
their web sites. Other mail clients, including Microsoft Outlook (part
of Microsoft Office) and Thunderbird (http://www.mozilla.com/) , utilize
similar pop-up windows and the same setup information.

The LIMITED number of free sites which permit access through Outlook
Express may also offer instructions on their web sites.

Please note that the microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general group would
be a better place for Outlook Express inquiries. That group may also be
able to provide instructions for accessing Hotmail accounts with Outlook
Express.
