I have just bought a new laptop which has vista home premium. I installed
office 2003 but found that I cannot print from word, even though I can print
from every other program. the problem is that when I click the print button
or go through file print, the doucment shows as being in the print que but
nothing happens.

My son is also running office 2003 professional on vista and does not have
any problems with printing from word. So I have checked my setting against
his and they are the same.

Can anybody help

But do you have the same printer driver? See if there's a printer driver
update.
Does it print OK in safe mode (Press and hold CTRL whilst starting Word).
