Can not populate my secondry Hard Drive?

I can see my secondry hard drive, in the device manager, but when I try to
populate, it gives me the message that no information is found.
Also I can't see this drive on my computer, although it was there during
installation of windows Vista Home Premuim.

Can you see the drive and health status in Disc Management? Have you tried
formatting the drive?

the drive status said its working properly, but i can not format it as the
properties button is dimed.
And also this hard drive consists of a lot of data

It sounds to me that what you are seeing is not a second hard drive, but a
second partition that holds the restoration files.
