This started happening in FP2002. FP starts fine but I can no longer open
webs. Single pages open fine. FP2002 just sits there with a blank page, I do
notice that the "Close Web" button is active and I can close the web (even
though nothing is showing) and try to open another with the same results.

I have run Help > Repair and have run the FPCleaner program but I still have
the same problem.

TIA for your suggestions and help!

there is/ was an add-in for "broken folders" at www.jimcoaddins.com that may
help you. you alternatively or additionally may want to try this:

If you make web sites for other people, you should check out ContentSeed:

I had already tried FPCleaner with no help. The "broken folders" program
didn't help either. Thanks for the ideas but are there any other suggestions?

As a note: I also can not create and open a new web. The web gets created
with all of the files there but it doesn't open once it is created.

Might just have to reinstall FP. Hate to do as I don't want to mess up the
web I've already created.

What type of webs (disc based or server based?)
And how do you know the web is not open?
- what do you see (if anything) in View Folder List or View Folders

I ended up reinstalling last night and that seemed to fix it. Not really sure
what was up with it but all is well now. Thanks for everyone's suggestions!
