Can not open msg files either as attachment or from file system

Hi
Recently I noticed that I could no longer open an msg attached to my emails
in Outlook 2003. I then realsied to my horror that I am also unable to open &
view msg files in my file system using Outlook 2003 - Emails I had saved for
individual emails as a backup

Uninstall Google Desktop Search. They've released a version that causes this
issue.
