I have created my web site and I am logged on to my server, but I can't get
my files to show up in the local web site folder, so I can't upload them.
I have tried dragging the folders in to the Local web site window and they
just disapear and turn up in my main web site folder??
No files appear in the window, what am I doing wrong?
Please help, I am getting so frustrated.
Thanks,
Mike Jarvis

Does the local folder that contains your web have a Blue Globe on it??
If not, right click on it in FrontPage and select "Convert to web"

Hi Steve,
Thanks for coming back to me so quickly.
No, it didn't have a globe, so I converted to a web as suggested, but the
files still do not appear in the local web site pane.
Any other suggestions?
Regards,
Mike

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download a
copy of
FP cleaner.
Run the Functions that:
Clear the FrontPage Temporary files.
Clear the Cache(*.web) files.

Then open FrontPage, open the web, click Folder view and click Tools >
Recalculate Hyperlinks.

Then click the refresh icon on the toolbar

When you Log into (File Open Site) your online site I becomes the Local site in FP
(which ever site is currently open in FP is the Local site)
Your Remote site would be your site on your PC
Select Remote Site Properties to select it
