Can NOT get Microsoft Antispyware to complete installation update

Every day I get message: "Microsoft Antispyware has new
update, etc." (Version 1.0.614. I click YES to install.
Message appears: "Microsoft Antispyware is installing
updates." Then, "Download Complete." Then "Install
Progress" -- the scrolling bar goes half way and comes to
a complete stop. Meanwhile, simultaneously, message
appears: "The InstalShield(R) wizard will complete the
installation of Microsoft Antispyware on your computer.
To continue, click Next." BUT - this message is
blocking/covering half of the install message so there is
nowhere to click on Next. Many other people on the forum
have stated the same problem. I see no response as yet
to resolve this problem. This program is NOT in the
Add/Remove programs, yet it is obviously installed. What
the heck is going on?
