Can Not Find New Styles

I just created a small amount of new styles for a type of report I do on a
regular basis and saved the document as a template for future use. Then I
opened an older report to test my styles out and none of my newly created
ones appear even when I choose "Show All" from the drop down list. Is there
a way for my styles to appear in every Word doc I open? I'm working with
Word 2003. Thanks.

Use the Organizer to copy the style into the old document: Click Tools |
Templates and Add-Ins; then click the Organizer button.

Note that when you add a style to a template, existing documents are not
affected, unless you choose the "Automatically update document styles"
option (Tools | Templates and Add-Ins) in those documents. See
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/temp...ons/index.html and
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/atta...ate/index.html.
