Can not figure it out

Hi all,

I created the public folder for task. in public folders. I am owner and I
can not assign task as you do this task in your mailbox. I do not know
what's the difference between task in your mailbox and task created in public
folder. outlook 2003 and outlook 2007 exchnage 2003 SP2.
