Try as I might, WMM will not complete the 'Save to DV
Camera' process. The IEEE cord securely connected to my
camera and the USB/IEEE panel on the computer. I have a
fully charged batter and have the camera connected to an
AC outlet. I click 'Save to DV Camera'. The SAVE MOVIE
WIZARD dialog appears informing me that everything on the
tape will be written over... the next dialog box appears
with the progress window and a message indicating that the
files are being saved and it may take several minutes.
After about 5 minutes, another dialog appears that
says "Cannot Complete the Save Movie Wizard." "Your movie
was not recorded successfully to the tape in your DV
camera."

We had a chap in here a while back who thought they had purchased a camera
with DV - IN as well as DV - OUT. I expect you can guess where this is
going...So assuming that your camera is DV-IN and that you have the
appropriate cable. (I know that there are 2 types of 1394 cable...numbers
of contacts and so on) the only suggest for you is try the WinDV utility
(Link on my website). Its free and has only 2 functions....send to, or get
from a DV device.
