I received this following error message when trying to open an archive
folder. "Cannot expand the folder. The set of folders cannot be opened.
Errors have been detected. Quit Outlook and all mail-enabled applicaitons,
and then use the inbox repair tool (SCANPST.exe) to diagnose and repair
errors in the file"

I have followed the above instructions and run the SCANPST against the file
and NO errors show up and of course when I start Outlook back up, the folder
still does not expand the the above message is produced again.

Any ideas or suggestions.

the pst may be damaged beyond repair. This is fairly common if you copied it
to a CD but can happen with any pst.
