I have Windows XP and just purchased Frontpage 2002 - when I try to create a
new website using one of the templates in Frontpage, it gives me an error and
closes after I try to edit. Anyone experience this ? Any suggestion? Regards
Salim

It would help *a lot* to know the exact template and the
exact error, but try:

FrontPage Locks Up

Thanks Jim - the problem occurs when I use the Corporate
Presence Wizard. After the wizard creates everything it -
the next step is to either edit the pages or go through
the 'tasks;. Once a Task is started it hangs for a while
the says
"Microsoft has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience"

Then it restarts Frontpage.

I tried that link with the tips - but still no go. Hope
this gives more insight into the problem I'm having.

Regards Salim

Curious. Try opening the problem Web site and then choosing
Recaluclate Hyperlinks from the Tools menu.

If that doesn't do it, post again and explain your setup some
more:

o Which version of FrontPage are you using?
o Which OS are you using?
o Where does the problem Web site reside
(disk or Web server, and if Web server, what kind)?
