Can not download CD

I receive the following error message when I try to install a TaxCut CD to my
computer. I know the MDAC is installed. I know the CD is good, because it
will install on other computers running Windows XP. It's important that it
runs on my computer because of previous year files. Is there any other reason
why the CD will not install? Is there a file missing? Does anyone know how
to fix for this problem?

Application Error: Exception Exception in module tcauto.exe at 0017DE3F.
Error creating object. Please verify that the Microsoft Data Access
Components 2.1 (or later) have been properly installed.

Thanks

likely you need to visit
the homesite for that
software

there is likely to be an
faq on the message they
encoded into their software.

perhaps there are patches
or additional downloads
for its software.

MDAC may be installed but have you used the utility available from MS data
access pages to verify your MDAC installation?
(MIDAC Component Checker - I dont have the current url, they moved it)
