For the past few days I have not been able to delete a majority of messages
from Outlook Express. When I try to, I get the following error message:

"The message could not be deleted"

I am running Outlook Express 6 (On a separate note.. does outlook express
cost anything, can/should I upgrade to another version. This is for my work
computer, so I can not spend any money)

I appreciate any help anyone could provide!

You should post this to the Outlook Express newsgroup. Outlook Express is
part of Internet Explorer while Microsoft Outlook is part of Microsoft
Office. In spite of the similarity of names, they are not the same
application nor is Outlook Express considered to be Outlook "Light."
