can not delete/change registry value

I found a virus in my computer set it as a service ,and the service is auto
run when system startup
i can not set it as non auto run ,and can not forbid it
i found it in the registry,i want delete it or change it's value in
regedit.exe,but after deleted it , i refresh the regedit.exe window,i found
the virus's registry is still here ,and i can not change the registry value.
how can i delete/change registry value?

First address the problem of "live" malware on the system. Identify
it and research for documented procedures to remove it. Addtional
clean-up (or re-installation) after you have killed it.

Have you logged in with safe mode? This may stop the program from
loading.
