Hello There!

I had a Microsoft Windows ME untill last night at around
1:00 a.m.,and I decided to upgrade to Microsoft Windows
2000 Professional. As a result, anytime I want to connect
to the Internet, all it says is " there is a hardware
failure or connecting devices."

I read all information on preinstallation requirements,
and I believe my computer, which is HP (Pentium 4 )is
compatible with Windows 2000 Professional.

I would appreciate if I can get any assistance

ME to 2000 is not an upgrade and not supported by MS. You
need to do a clean install if you want to get rid of the
hassles. Just make sure you backup your files.
