1. Open the Start menu and select the Run... command
(Windows key + R is the keyboard shortcut)
2. Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
That opens the Microsoft Management Console with the Group Policy
snap-in.
3. Click on the plus (+) symbol on the left of each of the following
headings to navigate through them till you reach the Password Policy:
NOTE: (You will see more headings, which I have left out
for ease of illustration.)
Local Computer Policy
+ -- Computer Configuration
+ -- Windows Settings
+ -- Security Settings
+ -- Account Policies
-- Password Policy
Minimum password age ?? days
There's how to get to the settings that Manny referred to, which your
error message seems to confirm is your problem.
