Hi,

On my Windows 2000 Server SP4 file server there is no option to change the
owner to other users or groups, the option box just isn't there, I can only
set the owner as administratot or the user currently logged on.

Also, when a user creates a new folder no owner is assigned at all so it can
not inherit any permissions.

Would anyone know why this is occuring?

Thanks,
Colin
