This message could have been a question...
why not do it again and ask one?

Thank you John.
Yes of course I can ask a question and pretend it is a comment but
fundamentally there is something wrong is there not?
If that is how the site was supposed to work then why have separate systems
to distinguish the difference?
However I will ask and see how long it takes for someone to point out to me
that I should be asking a question in the questions section and that this is
the discussions section.

Question : I moved some photos (JPG) rather than copied and pasted them and
now cannot find them. I have searched for them but cannot locate them and in
the original folder there is only the normally hidden files ie Thumbs and
ZbThumbnails:info.
Have I lost them or is there any way to recover them?
Thank you for any help that is offered.

===========================
Did you do a full system search for:
*.jpg

Also...be sure to check your recycle bin
and if all else fails...the following free
software may help recover some if not
all of the apparently deleted image files.

PC Inspector File Recovery

Recuva - File Recovery
