I host my own personal web page. I wanted to add a hit couter to it. I could not add it on the c:/web or the http:\\web. This in on the box that hosts the website. I used my laptop to open the web (both c and http) I was able to add it fine on that computer and publish it to the host server box. It worked fine. I went back to that box and still can not edit it thru frontpage. I ran the edit/repair on that box. Nothing. Bot boxes are on Win 2000 pro. Both have Front page 2000. I do not know why it will not let me add it on that computer. Any ideas?

On the box where the Hit Counter command is dimmed:

1. Open the Web site in FrontPage.
2. Choose Page Options from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Compatability tab.
4. Set all the drop-down lists to custom.
5. Select all the check boxes.
