Hello all, The last fwe days I can not access some web sites such as Amazon.com
the error message stating that:
Technical Information (for support personnel)
Error Type:
Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A01CE)
The remote server machine does not exist or is unavailable: 'GetObject'
/localstart.asp, line 40

Browser Type:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322;
..NET CLR 2.0.50727)

is there anybody who can help me in this?

That's amazon.com's problem.. That's not your computer.

Hello Rob, thanks for your help....
Yes normally this should not. But if I try "amazon" from anither computer
can access it....
I tested in IE and NN from my computer and I get this message but only from
my computer!
what else you think it should be?

It's still an amazon problem.. Even if it's their not handling your browser
properly. I say that because the error sounds like it came FROM the server
(unless it appeared in a pop-up window).

Complain to amazon support, or shop elsewhere.
