Can not access Excel Files

Hello.......just recently when trying to open an existing
Excel File I got an error message 1919 that said, "MS Data
Base file missing and can not access file". I have gone to
MSN and looked for any and all downloads for this file and
have downloaded and installed same and still get the same
message. I have a Compaq Presario 5430 running Windows XP
home edition. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, JTM

Please go to the following website, scroll the list on the left to Excel,
select it and try your question there:
