I belive I have accidentily disabled the "Automatic Sync" option from my WMP
V10. WMP no longer recognizes my Sansa player and now I cannot sync any
music/song to my Sansa.

I was hoping to find some way to get my computer to recognize my Sansa when
I plug it into my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest possibly trying to download wmp ver 11 and seeing if that
helps. I just got a sansa clip and I can't get wmp to recognize it at all. I
have tried all different ports, different cables, redownloading wmp, none of
it is working. It just says the device has malfunctioned and that it needs
drivers which sansa people said it doesn't. If you have any ideas, let me
know. Thanks

Tell Geek Squad that for $79 you can buy a new Clip or an iPod Shuffle. And
also tell Best Buy that since they sold it to you they should support it for
FREE. They should be completely ashamed of themselves.

Put it in "hold" (lateral button) and press its center button. Then,
plug into your usb. Windows xp will recognize it as mass storage
device.

Very strange, but it works!!!!

I just had the same problem and was looking for an answer when I came accross
you post: WMP stopped syncing with my sansa clip. I tried a number of
things but nothing worked,, then I used a different USB port and it worked.
Give it a try if you haven't.
