can no longer route by url

I can only route by IP not URL can this be fixed? I have dsl could not
connect. Called tech support after a few checks it was determined that I
can't route by url. Howerer if I type in an IP I connect.

Hi tired :-)

Cannot search without adding http://

For this particular symptom my guess would be that

regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

also.

IE will not connect to a webpage without manually typing http://
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/archive....htm#extension
or
Restore search functions
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs...oreSearch2.REG
to restore your search functions
