We have a newsletter on Microsoft Publisher which is in 3 columns per page.
We are considering purchasing Front Page and are interested in putting the
newsletter exactly as it appears on Publisher onto our web site. Can this be
done with Front Page? We don't want to purchase Front Page if this cannot be
done.

Also, at home I have a Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003. Can this be
upgraded to include Microsoft Publisher and Front Page?

You can use FP to import the *.pub file and create a link to it. If
People have Publisher they will then see it as you want.
I will recommend that you redo it as a HTML file and use that instead.
Everyone will be able to see it. Alternatively make it a PDF file as
many more will be able to see that than the *.pub file.

Yes, both Publisher and FP can be purchased as standalone versions
(FP2003 only available as standalone) that will integrate with your
existing Office apps.

Depends on what the original Pub file looks like, how complicated it is or isn't.
Also depends on your skill level with web design. Can you just plop it into FP...uhmmm maybe...usually not.

Usually what I do for my groups newsletters after designing it in Pub (which is primarily for print media) is to take the .pdf file that I sent to the print house and convert it to a .gif image and insert it into my FP web design, and I also include a link to the .pdf file so people can download it and print it themselves.

Converting an existing Pub newsletter directly to html webpage usually results in a mess (a fixable mess if you know web design but?)...if you were to design the Pub newsletter as a web page you'd probably get better results...but then again you'd be doing the work twice so, you might as well design the newsletter in FP for the web.

Convert it to PDF file, then import it into your web and link to it.
